Second Annual Adoption Unity Gathering

"Honoring the Lifelong Connection in Adoption"

Saturday, April 8, 2000 * 10 a.m.
Grace Cathedral
1100 California Street, San Francisco

Bring a rose or a memento to place on the altar honoring your family by birth and/or adoption. Please invite your friends and relatives.

This gathering was inspired by an historic mass held in 1998 at Our Lady of Victory Basilica in Buffalo, New York, honoring the relationships among birth families, adoptive families and the adoptees who create lifelong links between them. We recognize that nurturing and rearing a child requires all the love and caring available from everyone and that adopted children flourish best in truth, knowing who they are, thus being able to receive the wealth of riches in heritage and nurture from all their relations.
