Post Adoption Center for Education and Research
PACER, the Post Adoption Center for Education and Research, is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization established in 1978. It serves the adoption community in the greater San Francisco Bay and Sacramento areas by offering monthly support groups, peer counseling, workshops and seminars, a quarterly newsletter and referrals to related services.Second Annual Adoption Unity Gathering
Bring a rose or a memento to place on the altar honoring your family by birth and/or adoption. Please invite your friends and relatives.
This gathering was inspired by an historic mass held in 1998 at Our Lady of Victory Basilica in Buffalo, New York, honoring the relationships among birth families, adoptive families and the adoptees who create lifelong links between them. We recognize that nurturing and rearing a child requires all the love and caring available from everyone and that adopted children flourish best in truth, knowing who they are, thus being able to receive the wealth of riches in heritage and nurture from all their relations.
