ACHIEVEMENTS:
Created the first regional post-adoption center in California.
Presented workshops in several states and Canada on:
Pioneered the use of experienced adoptive and foster parents on staff as a major part of services to adoptive families.
Pioneered the Adoption Family Treatment Model.
Administrative Law Judge (MEPA Appeal).
Drafted sections of existing Adoption legislation in California.
Expert Witness in several Superior Courts on Adoption, Foster Care and Custody issues.
Co-founder of Kinship Alliance, a national institute of adoption practitioners, authors and educators.
Consultant to agencies - marketing and adoption funding strategies.
Created the first public adoption agency website in California, and currently serve as webmaster for the California Association of Adoption Agencies site, www.california-adoption.org
