Early intervention is the key to avoiding a crisis in children. Learning the symptoms and signs that can be a prelude to crisis is very important to be able to get help for the child or the family early. Setting up a support circle early of doctors, therapists, social workers, friends, and family is an integral part of being able to survive a crisis that may occur. If you already have this support in place then it is much easier to turn to them when you have a problem or crisis. If you have a child in crisis then you need to search out help for your child and help for you family to be able to support this child in treatment.
