This is an important thing for parents to do. The earlier that your child gets help for any learning disabilities or other disabilities that they may have, the quicker that they will get help to overcome these disabilities. This will help them in the long run in school and in life. Many parents may just think that their child is just learning slower, but isn't it better to know now rather than when your child is older, that they need additional help? This will help them get the early intervention help that they need, which could help them to catch up to their peers by the time they are ready to start school.
