hello, tell me what is the best way to get my seven year old stepson legitimized, when the bio-father is on the run, the enforcement must first contact him, which they already know which state he is in, but not directly.and with his permission, sign him over. as they would say.b/c as of now i find out that i have been very active in this childs life , but according to the legal system i have now rights over him, and yes we are married, and my wife agrees with legalizing our family, but covenant, and law do not agree. what do i do.
