I am desperately looking for assistance with trying to adopt a child as a gay mother. I have been with my partner for over 10 years. We are both school teachers, and have devoted our entire lives to teaching children. Now we both are ready to have children of our own, but we just don't know where to turn for support and guidance. My girlfriend and I have been together for almost 4 years now. We have come upon the problem of not being able to adopt because of being homosexual. We dont know exactly how to go about adoption. We most likely will be adopting in 2+ years, I know we are looking up things a little early, but we just want to get as much information as possiable.
