UK Adoption
Hello All.
I am in need of assistance as this forum is very new to me. Prior to my birth, my mother had been married and had four children (not including me), of whom she subsequently gave up for adoption. An American couple adopted one of those children, which is quite ironic seeing that I now reside in the US.
I was born in 1969 in London, so that would mean my sisters were born prior to 1965. Here’s were I need help. I do not know where to begin with this search. I am open for any suggestions or help at this point in time.

Have you asked your mom for more details? Or perhaps a sibling of your moms that might know more? The name of the agency, adoption home, hospital etc? Do you have a name of your sister at birth?
Any idea what state the couple lived in when they adopted her that might lead to the amended b/c information?

Perhaps have a look in a UK adoption forum.
Trust yourself and do not lost your way.
Greetings
Christine
