Percent of Total

In 2000, there were 18,537 total "orphan" visas issued by the U.S. State Department, and in 2001, there were 19,137. Students of statistical trends might be interested to see the change in various countries' percentage of those totals. For example, approximately 27% of total visas issued in 2000 were from China, and in 2001, China represented approximately 25% of the total.
