I am currently working on my Master's degree in Family and Child Studies at Texas State University, and I am working on a research proposal concerning youth that "age out" of foster care, and the educational and employment outcomes of those that did and did not attend an independent living program. I was wondering if anybody knows how I can find information about whether or not there are cities that require youth to attend independent living programs prior to discharge in the State of Texas. If you know the answer to this, or know where I can find the answer, please contact me. jm1498@txstate.edu or jenmcspad@yahoo.com. Thank you.
