These provide a wealth of information for those who have a city location, occupation of birth parents and/or grandparents (information about maternal grandparents is especially important if birth parents were unmarried), or possibly last names. Directories list all employed people or college students in a household, their professions, employers (for some years), whether they were head of household or resident, whether they owned or rented, address and phone number. Directories can be found at public libraries.

I am looking for my son that was adopted 18 yrs ago, his birth name was Brian Christopher Kirk Douglas but his name was changed to Kyle Brian. He was born Jan 24,1988 at Weed Army Hospital in FT Irwin,CA On a military post. His adoption was out of San Bernadino, CA the social worker name was Margret Thomas or Thopmas they also called her Peggy. The adopted family that has my son there name was Father: L.C And Wife: Lynn. I was told when he became 18 we would have the chance to meet. I now live in Houston, Texas all of the info we hand on them was destroyed when our home burned down. We have been looking for any info on him, pls could u help. if not Thnak You

Can you find my biological grandmother for me? I need to know who my real family is, my background, my race, and most of all where my actual ancesters originated from. BUT, if you can't help me, if you're the kind person that i know you are would you PLEASE, PLEASE give this letter to someone that can find them for me?
