I love to read. I read good books, bad books, and everything-in-between books. Authors and publishers send me books, I buy books by the cartonful, and I have depleted the shelves of libraries far and wide.

My choices for this list are books that are fascinating explorations of relationships, books to capture your interest and imagination, books I hope will have wide appeal. When you're packing your beach bag, picnic basket, or fanny pack, consider adding one (or more) of these great summer reads:
