"Every citizen in our country has a right to the legal documents of how they came to be a part of the world, and a part of their family. Why should my son be denied this basic right?"

"The biological trail and roots of a person are necessary for a healthy sense of identity and self-esteem. If I do not know where I came from, it is hard to know where I am going. I would love to find my adopted son's birth family for him. And the African/American birth family of my 2 year old grandson, so he can grow up enriched by both races."
