So far I have had good results using my new daughter as a homing device.

I ask her "Natasha where is Mama's coat?" and she starts looking. It is a fun game to play. I get to stand still and watch her run around the house looking. So far I can get her to look for

Mama's shoes
Mama's coat
Her coat
Her shoes
Max the wonder dog
Taz the other dog
Pickles (she loves pickles)
Dirty dishes that she has left all over the house
