Staring at a photograph,
Looking at that precious smile.
My heart breaks more with everyday you're gone,
But I hope to see you in a while.
"Amazing Grace" was the first song I sang to you
Because your grace is what gets me through.
God put an angel in my life.
I saw Heaven when I first looked in your eyes.
I'm not sure when I'll see you again
But I hope it won't be long.
I know it will be worth the wait
Because my love for you is so strong.
I can still see you in your daddy's arms.
He smiled and looked so proud.
We'd give anything just to raise you,
But we weren't allowed.
My sweet sweet baby angel
I hope you know you've got my heart.
I'll still love you just the same
Even though we're forced to be apart.
