Birthmother


I am a birthmother and so I related to Anne Bancroft's character. She did an excellent job of showing a birthmother's emotions. I hope this portrayal will give courage to all adoptees who fear that contact might be denied them because doing so might dredge up unhappy memories for the birthmother.

I hope it points out to everyone that reunion promotes healing.
