HAYSTACKS

contributed by Nica10

   Ingredients
12 oz bag (2 cups) butterscotch chips
12 oz bag (2 cups) semi-sweet chocolate chips
7~8 c. chow mein noodles (one bag)
    1 1/2 c. peanuts (I use salted ~ but not necessary)
   Preparation
Melt together the butterscotch and chocolate chips in a double boiler. Pour over the chow mein noodles and peanuts. Stir well. Drop on waxed paper by teaspoonful and chill in refrigerator before serving.

Note: It's not necessary to chill in the fridge. Also, these freeze beautifully! Sometimes instead of butterscotch chips, I use peanut butter chips.
