Hallmark Entertainment is bringing a 13-part series called "Adoption" to television. The first segment was aired on June 1, 2002, and subsequent one-hour segments are scheduled on Sunday evenings. Check your local listings for the Hallmark Channel.

It looks like the series is airing exclusively on the Hallmark Channel, and hopefully, arrangements will be made quickly with other networks to provide greater exposure.

For more details, Hallmark Channel has created an Adoption Web Site with summaries and a place to contribute your adoption story.

The President and CEO of Crown Media United States (operators of Hallmark Channel U.S.) Lana Corbi, said, "This series is powerfully evocative. Not every situation ends in the adoption of a child, and we learn that adoption is much more a journey than a process."
