Rootsweb Birth Index
This birth index is focused on older records for genealogical purposes but does include some recent information. A surname (last name) is required to search, and information is available for the following states: CA, CT, IL, IN, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NH, NJ, NY, OH, TN, TX, UT, VT, WI, and Canada.
