Maria Quintanilla

Maria Quintanilla is a program director at the Latino Family Institute, which specializes in providing adoption and foster care services to the Latino community. A former director of the Hispanic Family Institute, the first Latino adoption and foster care agency in California, Ms. Quintanilla obtained her MSW from the University of California at Berkeley. She also studied Social Welfare in Mexico. She is a recognized leader in the field of Latino adoption and foster care issues, conducitng training at all levels of government.
In addition to her role at the Latino Family Institute, Ms. Quintanilla serves on the National Council of Latino Executives, and advisory group to the Child Welfare League of America, and the Latino Advisory Group for the Dave Thomas Foundation.
