Jane Chittick

Ms. Chittick began her career with the State of Tennessee within the Department of Public Welfare, moving on to serve as social counselor and various supervisory positions in all program areas of child welfare. She assumed a position as the Program Director of Adoption Services for the Department of Human Services in 1992, and was named to her current position as the Director of Adoption Services within the Department of Children's Services in 1996. She oversees the creation and implementation of policy and service delivery practices for the adoption services program.

Ms. Chittick holds a BS from Tennessee Technological University, and serves as an ad hoc member of the Tennessee Adoption Study Commission created in 1993.
