Plan to participate Every year, I wish I had the time and money to attend
every adoption-related event but, of course, it isn't possible and I have to pick and choose. Thankfully, the Net has broadened our ability to find events and schedules in order to plan our own calendars. (Note: Many major conferences make tapes and/or written materials available after the conclusion of the event, for a fee.)
We aren't all fortunate enough to be able to attend many, or even any, adoption events. If you do participate in any event, I encourage you to share your notes or impressions with others. One way to do that is to
submit them here to the site for possible publication.

NAIC CalendarCompiled by the National Adoption Information Clearinghouse, the calendar lists regional and national conferences related to child welfare. These include informational meetings, workshops, pre-adoption education sessions, as well as larger seminars and conferences. Submit your event by email.
