Phil Gail and Cory
Phil Gail and CoryDear Birthparent,
We are Phil and Gail, and we live near Palm Springs, California. We are seeking to
adopt a baby. We have been blessed with so much that we would like to share with
another child. We have an adopted son named Cory. He is 7 years old and is excited
about being a big brother!
We have been married for over 12 years and are very happy. We own our own
home, which is located in an upper middle class family oriented neighborhood. Phil
owns his own automotive repair business and also restores classic cars. He has been
in this profession all of his life, and has owned his own business for the last 11 years.
Phil is a very involved and loving father to Cory. His hobbies are racing, football,
fishing, reading, and camping.
Gail is a former hospital pediatric nurse and now enjoys staying home full time with
Cory. She enjoys cooking (especially Cajun food), reading, writing, watching
spectator sports, going for walks, and camping.
Cory was born premature and weighed just over 2 pounds. He is now a very
healthy, and happy little boy who came to us through a birthmom is Texas. We send
pictures and updates on him to her when she requests them. She made us a family,
and we are so grateful that she chose us to be the parents of our precious little boy.
Cory races BMX bikes and is very good at it. He has a whole wall full of trophies! He
has a great sense of humor and a very loving heart. He prays for a baby brother or
sister.
We attend a non-denominational Christian church near our home and are very
involved in the ministries that go on there. We have several close friends that live in
our neighborhood that have children of all ages for Cory to play with. They, along with
family members are looking forward to us adopting again.
We know that adoption is a very big decision, one that you must be content with for
life. Whether you choose us or another family, we wish you the best. Thank you for
giving this child life, and the chance to bless an infertile couple and make them a
family. We have experienced the joy of "falling in love" with an adopted child and
look forward to experiencing this again. Thank you for taking the time to read our letter.
We have an approved homestudy.
Our nursery is complete, and names for the baby have been chosen.
All we need now is to hear from the right birthmom.
