Never A Day
by Michael Cristo

Never a day goes by

When I think not of you

I pause to wonder where you are

What stage of life you're going through

I wonder if you're better off

Than in the life with me you'd live

I wonder if you've found a place

Within your heart to please forgive…

Never a day goes by

I don't miss all we could have shared

Like letting you know my love for you

And how much I truly care

If only you knew how hard it was

Always knowing there was part of me out there

A sacrifice for your own good

For something better, somehow, somewhere…

I know you understand the pain

I'm sure you've had your own share too

Endless days of curiosity

And sleepless nights you can't get through

But don't ever feel like you weren't loved

Don't waste your time to wonder "why"?

Don't ever question if I think of you

Because never a day goes by...
