Hello! We are Vince and Melinda and we are very excited to have this opportunity to tell you a little bit about us! First of all, we want to applaud you on the very difficult decision you've made to place your child with a loving adoptive family. What a selfless, caring and wonderful choice you have made! We have been very happily married for over 12 years -- we are each other's best friend. Ours was a 'workplace romance' that blossomed while we worked together at? a high-tech company in southern California. We were both enrolled at the same college at the same time and graduated together. Three years later, we were married in Malibu, overlooking the Pacific Ocean on a picture-perfect February day. We eventually decided to move to the Sacramento area so that we could buy our dream home and raise a child in a family-oriented environment. Like many couples, we tried unsuccessfully to have a child for a number of years. Through this process it became crystal-clear that we would love and cherish any child we had in our family and turned to adoption in hopes of making our dream a reality. We have so much to give a child -- tons of love; a stable, happy home and family life; and, opportunities to play, discover, learn and grow into a successful, confident individual. We live in El Dorado Hills -- a beautiful area located in the Sierra-Nevada foothills -- in a large, comfortable five-bedroom home on 1/2 acre in a wonderful neighborhood. We love our house's big front porch (perfect for a swing), the large fenced backyard with extensive lawns, lots of trees and flowers, and of course, the swimming pool and spa! In addition, the house is set up so that Vince is able to work from home in our downstairs office. He's tied in with his company through computer networks, FAX and phones; so he's never far away from home! Amber is our loving beagle who is great with kids; she's very sweet and protective --our 'love girl.' Bud is our Siamese cat we 'adopted' who now runs the household. Our home is the 'resort' where family pets occasionally come to be pampered. 'Cousin' Mattie the Cocker, and Max(ine) the Lab love swimming and chasing balls at our place. They are all just slightly spoiled...kids love playing with them.
