Rene and Rosalie are excited to start a new family!
Because of our area and location, we enjoy a wide range of activities. In the summer we water-ski, mountain bike, and roller blade.
In the Winter, we snowboard with friends and family, place ice hockey on our neighborhood pond, and snowmobile in the great outdoors.

We will spend the next few summers planting lots of trees, flowers, and grass on our one acre of land. It is our hope that one day the yard will be full of children's laughter as they play ball and roll in the grass.
We live a wonderful and happy life here in Truckee. We have a stable, playful marriage and a beautiful new home filled with a menagerie of animals. We are surrounded by loving and supportive family and friends that are very close by in both directions. We have an ache in our hearts for a child to love and nurture. We fell very fortunate to be in a small town full of young families where the community cares about their needs. We have a brand new elementary school just down the street and around the corner from our home. The schools are wonderful here, the children experience days on the beach in the Spring, and go on cross-country skiing trips with their entire class in our state park. Mark's mother and sister are both teachers here in town, so our child will have every opportunity to pursue their academic interests. There is no doubt, Truckee is truly a town of opportunity where even the thought and desire of becoming a gold medal skier can actually come true.
Dear Birthmother, if you're reading our letter, you are considering adoption for your child. We thank you for taking the time to visit with us and for giving couples like us a chance to someday be parents. After many unsuccessful fertility treatments and much disappointment, you give us new hope. We look forward to the joys of parenthood and hope that somewhere in these pages, you'll see something about our lives that you like. We have great respect for your courage in such a big decision.
