We're Jeff, Sonya, and Austin. We can only imagine how difficult this decision must be for you. We are very grateful to have the opportunity to tell you about our family and hope that this might make your decision a little easier. We met on the beautiful island of Maui. We were together there for two incredible years and decided to move back to Sonya's home town to get married. We just celebrated our tenth year anniversary. We always knew we wanted kids, but after many tests, surgeries, infertility treatments, and heartaches, we realized we couldn't have any of our own.
Three years after we were married we adopted Austin. We couldn't have been more blessed. He is the light of our lives. He is seven now, and when someone asks him what he wants for Christmas or his birthday, he says a sister or brother. We feel the same way.
We live in the wonderful Northern California community of Auburn. Auburn is nestled in the Sierra foothills and we take full advantage of its proximity to beautiful lakes, rivers, trails, Lake Tahoe, and the culture of San Francisco. Auburn is a small town and rarely do we go somewhere that we don't run into someone we know.
Our Children, Our Focus...
We live in a wonderful children's neighborhood called Vintage Oaks. We moved here after Austin was born because we wanted him to grow up in a safe place with lots of other children to play with. The neighborhood has its own park and nature trails. Any time school is out, there are children out riding bikes, scooters, and playing ball. Our house is a light and airy three bedroom, two bath, with a big, beautiful back yard. There are lots of flowers, lawn, and a great play structure. We want to provide a rich and satisfying life for your baby. That includes great schools, lots of opportunities, and of course infinite amounts of love and support. We are fortunate to have the ability to give our children a great education. Austin attends an incredible private school now, and we plan on supporting him through whatever higher education he chooses. We want our children to be well rounded and to pursue many interests. We are prepared to support anything ranging from the arts and music to sports.
