Christine and Dan Christine and Dan
Dan About Christine

She is amazing! Christine is like a magnet, everyone she meets, including me, can't get enough of her. She's intelligent, caring, giving, loving, and a whole lot of fun. When I met Christine, she had just begun teaching and was working part-time as a caterer. Teaching has become the career and catering her hobby. One thing that has not changed over the years is her dedication to helping others. In 1992, Christine and her girlfriend Sarah put together a benefit for Dorothy's Kitchen, a local facility for the homeless. After eight years and a lot of hard work, the "Franciscan Fiesta" has grown into a community event and a mainstay for the kitchen. Because of her fundraising efforts with Dorothy's Kitchen, The American Cancer Society, Memorial Hospital and several smaller charities, Christine was voted Monterey County's 1994 "Citizen of the Year".

Quality education is something that is dear to Christine's heart. She is a teacher of students with special needs, and is loved and respected by her students. Christine has personally committed herself to improving her knowledge of students and how they learn. She holds a bachelors degree in psychology, multiple teaching credentials and recently completed her Masters in Special Education. I am very proud of her!

Christine spends her free time with friends and family. Her friends share her love for music, cooking and entertaining. Christine enjoys animals and the outdoors. Her mom has a second house on the Truckee River in Tahoe where we spend a lot of time together skiing in the winter and doing river stuff in the summer. All three of Christine's siblings have migrated to Bozeman, Montana, so we are lucky enough to spend vacations and holidays in the Montana outdoors. Recently, Christine's mom bought a place in our hometown so she could by nearer to the potential grandchildren and us. Right now, our family consists of "Bob", the cat and "Butch", the basset hound.
Christine About Dan

Dan is as good as it gets, genuine and down to earth. Dan's ability to nurture and love is evident in all aspects of his life. A few months after we started dating, my father was diagnosed with cancer, Dan was a steady and loving support to both me and my family during this difficult time; it was then that I knew he was here for the duration, good times and bad. Dan brings a great deal of "good" to our lives. He is clever, artistic and a great dancer!

Currently, Dan manages vineyards on the central coast for one of the largest, premium wine grape growers in California. As a farmer, he has an appreciation for the land and the people that work the land. He absolutely loves to be outside and when not in the vineyards, he can usually be found in our garden, surrounded the by the beauty of the hillsides. The family walnut orchards remind Dan of growing up, the value of hard work, and the satisfaction that go with farming.

Dan feels so fortunate that we live close to his siblings and parents, allowing him to visit and hang out with his favorite people with whom he feels close. Dan shares his passion for gardening and landscaping with his mother and sister; they are constantly searching for new and interesting plants and projects. Right now, it's a fountain! Dan also enjoys the arts, such as music, mosaics, carving, and playing the guitar.
