ABOUT MY WIFE TESS-

Tess is my best friend, a more perfect wife and future mother than one could ever hope for. She encompasses all the qualities one could ever want in a marriage partner. I feel incredibly lucky to have found her. In her career as a registered nurse, Tess has worked in many fields including labor and delivery, OB, pediatrics, critical care, and now is an ER nurse in our local hospital.

Aside from the wonderful work she does, Tess is very active in many outdoor sports. Together with our crew, we race an exciting sail boat on the San Francisco Bay. Tess's skill and humor make our race days on the bay wonderful. She is a very natural athlete and is equally at home as first base for her hospital softball team or balancing on the bow of our boat.

Tess has always been the person that our friends turn to when they need advice or support. She comes from a large tightly knit family in Washington state and largely because of this develops very strong trusting relationships with people. If and when we achieve our dream of having a child to love and raise, it is Tess's wish to be a stay at home Mum, and we are fortunate that this is possible. We both believe very strongly that it is very important for a child to be raised as much as possible by their parents.

ABOUT MY HUSBAND BEN-

I call Ben my Mr. Wonderful. I am a very fortunate woman to have him as my partner in life, my true love and my best friend. He is very sincere and compassionate. He has a great zest for life and has brought adventure into my life.

Ben was born and raised in England and then spent time living in Spain and South Africa. His determination and passion for adventure, travel and flying brought him to America in 1989 to begin his flying career. He is now a proud American and a pilot for United Air Lines. This has really helped to accommodate our love for travel and gives him plenty of time off, so we always get great quality time to spend together.
Another passion of Ben's is his love of sailing and the sea. Ben's grandfather taught him to sail at the age of four. Ben enjoyed sharing his love of sailing with his father and grandfather and can't wait to share it with our children. He also spends time volunteering with the Ocean Youth Club teaching teamwork, responsibility and a great sense of self accomplishment, achievement and pride to troubled teens during long voyages on large sailing vessels.

Ben is a very passionate, caring, loyal and giving person. He never turns down the chance to lend a helping hand. He is liked by everyone he meets and is especially the life of the party whenever there are kids around. They are naturally drawn to him, and he loves spending time with children. I often have to remind him to "come play with the adults now" during our friend and family gatherings. He is a very devoted person and always puts family first. He has good values and strong family bonds. He will be such a wonderful Dad!!!

Thank you for taking time to see a small glimpse of who we are. We are excited about adoption to help make our dream come true and hope you see that in us.
