There were times when my eyes were scared
There was a life of endless doubt
There were days when my patience would shortly run out
There are times in my life I will cry
There is a sadness in my heart that feels your pain inside
I love you more than life itself
I would give the world for your happiness and health
I will always miss your smiling face
I will forever miss your loving embrace
There is no stronger love than what I carry inside
There will never be a love like mine
A love that will forever last
A love to carry when hard times pass
A love that is with you eternally
A love that you some day will see
For when love is given with style and grace
It's the kind of love that selfishness will replace
Tears will seem to dry away
A prayer will come for your brighter days
A smile inside will come to you
If you always remember
I love you too...
That was a poem I wrote to my son through the tears and pain.
There is never a day that goes by that I don't cry. I love him more than
life itself. I only wish perhaps that I could love him more.
I love him in a way that cuts me each and every day and to me that is
more than just love, and life, it is the most painful sacrifice.
