Expressions of the HeartJanuary 6th

In 1992 I gave birth to my first child at the age of 21. I
relinquished my son in Texas to a family I believed
would raise him in ways I was unable. I had what was
known then as an "Open Adoption".

In 1998 I gave birth to my daughter at the age of 27.
I relinquished my daughter in New Jersey to a
wonderful couple. This adoption is a little more "open".

Both situations are different but my feelings towards
each are very much the same.

Surfing the internet for over 6 years I was blessed to
stumble across Courtney's article on Adoption Scams.
Since then not only have I gained wonderful friendships;
but I have a whole new family.

I offered my "know-how" and talent of graphic and
website design to Adopting.org as a gift. I did this
because everyone here gives so much to everyone in
the Adoption Triad I felt they needed a little back.

Today, 2 1/2 months later, I am gaining alot of work
through Adopting.org not to mention learning alot about
mysef and others like me and I could never say "Thank
You" enough!

I am in no way a "professional" on adoption and I
encourage anyone needing professional help to do so.
